Our story
Throughout its history, ASU has offered numerous programs for emerging leaders – both faculty and staff. Yet, there has never been a comprehensive program designed to serve the established, proven leaders and their ongoing leadership trajectory. Furthermore, no existing programs specifically address leadership embedded in ASU.
As we move forward on this trajectory of innovation, we need to consider how we can sustainably cultivate a pool of leaders who will advance ASU as a New American University. Partial to this vision, President Crow recognized the need for such a program at ASU. At his request, May Busch and Minu Ipe have created, designed and executed the Advanced Leadership Initiative to develop and serve the next generation leaders at ASU.
